5 Reasons Why You Should Convert Your Backing Tracks & Audio Files From One Format To Another (Eg. MD & CD To MP3, iPod, etc.)

1) UPGRADE & DOWNSIZE... Because you have an iPod or other MP3 player that you could take to your gigs to play your tracks more easily instead of bringing your Mini Disc player AND a stack of discs, or your laptop!

2) LIMITATIONS... You may not have the time or resources to convert and transfer all your backing tracks from one format to another.

3) BACK UP... You should have back up copies of all your backing tracks. Imagine if; you lost your discs, had your tracks deleted, your iPod was stolen, or your computer died!

4) EFFICIENCY & ORGANISATION... Instead of having a few tracks on your iPod, some on CD, and the rest scattered on 3 or 4 (or more) MD's, why not have them all organised in one place - you can even have your CD/MD tracks labelled and titled as well!

5) FOR ONE AND ALL... You can have your own tracks for yourself (eg. on MD), and copies for your band members in their preferred format (eg. MP3). No more reason for members not learning their parts!

Please note: Conversions/transferrals to and/or from mini discs can only be performed in real time. Eg. A mini disc with 45 minutes of music should take at least 45 minutes to convert into mp3 format if all files are to be converted. This process can be performed faster when transferring from CD to mini disc, as long as CD contains .wav files.

ORDERING CONDITIONS

* Send your conversion order request to audio@letsjam.com.au , including a preferred date when you would like your order completed. If, for example, you need your backing sequences for an upcoming weekend, it's recommended you place your order as early in the week as possible, even on a Sunday.

* All conversions are at a cost of $25.00 per hour (or part thereof) for the service only.

* Any editing involved will be included in the $25.00 per hour fee charged. (Eg. removing long silences before tracks, correcting audible glitches, adding track titles, etc.)

* A deposit of $25.00 must be paid prior commencement of conversion/transferral order. Payment of any remaining balance should be made on completion of order. All payments can be made by E.F.T./direct deposit, money order, or cash.

* Audio file conversions to mp3 or other preferred format will be provided to you on a CD at no extra charge. This CD will be your master copy so you can transfer files onto your chosen media playing device at your own leisure.

* We recommend you supply your own additional CD-R's and/or blank mini discs to avoid the costs of us supplying them for you. Applicable charges will be incurred for purchase of additional mini discs, CD's, postage, packaging, and pick up/delivery costs.

* General expected completion of orders is usually within 1 week, subject to work load.

* Let's Jam takes no responsibility for any CD's or MD's that you provide which are, or may be, damaged or faulty.
